PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Ammonium sulfate is an inorganic substance, colorless crystals or white particles, and odorless. Decomposes above 280°C. Solubility in water: 70.6g at 0°C, 103.8g at 100°C. Insoluble in ethanol . The pH of the 0.1 mol/L aqueous solution is 5.5. The relative density is 1.77. Refractive index 1.521.

PRODUCT USAGE

A kind of excellent nitrogen fertilizer, suitable for general soil and crops, can make branches and leaves grow vigorously, improve fruit quality and yield, enhance the resistance of crops to disasters, and can be used as base fertilizer, topdressing fertilizer and seed fertilizer. It can double decompose with salt to produce ammonium chloride, react with aluminum sulfate to produce ammonium alum, and manufacture refractories together with boric acid. Adding to the electroplating solution can increase the conductivity. It is also a catalyst for food sauce, a nitrogen source for yeast culture in the production of fresh yeast, a dyeing aid for acid dyes, and a leather deliming agent.

In addition, it is also used in beer brewing, chemical reagents and battery production.

Another important role is to mine rare earth. Ammonium sulfate is used as raw material to exchange rare earth elements from the mineral soil in the form of ion exchange, and then the leaching solution is collected for simple filtration and separation before drying to form rare earth raw ore. Every ton of rare earth raw ore mined and produced requires about 5 tons of ammonium sulfate.
