PRODUCT USAGE
[Purpose 1]
Disinfectants, tanning agents, wood preservatives, medicines and polymer synthetic materials.
[Purpose 2]
Used as fixative for microscopic examination
[Purpose 3]
Tanned cattle, pig, sheep garment leather and glove leather with chrome. It is suitable for sealed and dark storage at low temperature (below 0 ℃). This product is strongly irritating to eyes and skin. Wear glasses, gloves and other protective equipment when taking it. It cannot be mixed with vegetable tanning agents and synthetic tanning agents containing phenols.
[Purpose 4]
Glutaraldehyde is a low toxic chemical antiseptic fungicide. It can be used for the preservation of vegetables and fruits in China. The maximum use amount is 0.05g/kg, and the residual amount is not more than 5mg/kg.
[Purpose 5]
Glutaraldehyde is used for disinfection, pharmacy, tanning, as a film hardener for electron microscopy and color kinescope. This product is used to produce the central stimulant, kaempferine hydrochloride. Glutaraldehyde is a quick acting and broad-spectrum chemical disinfectant. Low concentration of glutaraldehyde aqueous solution at room temperature can show activity to many microorganisms. It has a high sterilization effect on reproductive bacteria, viruses, mycobacteria, pathogenic molds and bacterial spores, and has low toxicity to humans. Some people said that formaldehyde was used at the beginning of this century, and ethylene oxide and other chemical disinfectants were used in the 1930s. At present, glutaraldehyde is the third milestone. In 1973, the World Health Organization (WHO) recommended three drugs as hepatitis B virus disinfectants. Among the known aldehydes, glutaraldehyde is the best protein cross-linking agent. The characteristics of cross-linking are high activity, fast reaction, high binding amount, stable product and strong resistance to boiling water, acid and enzyme. Therefore, leather tanned with glutaraldehyde has excellent properties such as sweat resistance, heat resistance and soap resistance.
[Purpose 6]
Glutaraldehyde is known as the third milestone in the development history of chemical disinfectants after formaldehyde and ethylene oxide disinfection. As the stock solution for the production of glutaraldehyde series bactericides, glutaraldehyde (111-30-8) series bactericides have the characteristics of low methanol content, no disproportionation and no toxin accumulation, and are widely used in disinfection, sterilization, pharmaceutical and other industries
Glutaraldehyde (111-30-8) is a highly effective disinfectant, which is characterized by broad spectrum, high efficiency, low toxicity, low corrosivity to metals, little influence by organic substances, and good stability. It is applicable to the disinfection and sterilization of medical instruments and precision instruments resistant to humidity and heat. Its sterilization concentration is 2%, and the commercially available glutaraldehyde mainly includes 2% alkaline glutaraldehyde and 2% enhanced acidic glutaraldehyde. Alkaline glutaraldehyde is often used for sterilization of medical devices. Before use, add an appropriate amount of sodium bicarbonate, shake well, and then stand for 1 hour to determine the pH value. When PH is 7.5-8.5, glutaraldehyde has the strongest bactericidal effect.
Glutaraldehyde sterilization (111-30-8) is the function of its monomers. When the pH of the solution reaches 6, these monomers have a tendency to polymerize. With the increase of pH, this polymerization is very rapid, and precipitation can occur in the solution. After the polymer is formed, the bactericidal effect will be lost. Therefore, alkaline glutaraldehyde is a relatively unstable disinfectant, and 2% enhanced acidic glutaraldehyde uses polyoxyethylene fatty alcohol ether as the intensifier to enhance the bactericidal effect of glutaraldehyde. Its pH is lower than 5, its killing effect on bacterial spores is weaker than alkaline glutaraldehyde, but its killing effect on viruses is stronger than alkaline glutaraldehyde, its stability is better than alkaline glutaraldehyde, and it can be used continuously for 28 days.
[Purpose 7]
Glutaraldehyde is the most important saturated straight chain aliphatic binary aldehyde, which is only inferior to glyoxal. Glutaraldehyde is known as the third generation chemical sterilizing agent, and it is also an excellent tanning agent, protein cross-linking agent, highly effective bactericidal disinfectant, biological enzyme and tissue curing agent for cells. It is widely used in medicine, health, petrochemical, light industry and scientific research.
